This whimsical, chic invitation created for a dear friend I've known since she was a child and her husband-to-be. 

The concept was a mix of casual and sophisticated to capture both the spirit of the couple and their early fall wedding. The invitation and reply set were letterpress-printed on luxurious pearl white cotton rag paper with plates created from my original hand calligraphy. The elegant color palate of khaki and French blue was the perfect backdrop for the dramatic pattern of envelope liner, which exudes an Old World charm. As always, the suite was completed with my hand calligraphy on the envelopes to match the custom font of the invitation.
